    数苑经纬讲坛(96):Stability Mechanisms in Anisotropic Incompressible and Compressible MHD Flows

    报告摘要:In this talk, I will present recent results on the stability and long-time behavior of incompressible and compressible MHD equations with anisotropic or partial dissipation near a constant background magnetic field. I will discuss how the coupling between the flow and the magnetic field generates effective stabilization. In particular, I will describe global stability and sharp decay estimates for incompressible MHD with only vertical velocity dissipation as well as recent results on anisotropic compressible MHD systems with slip boundary conditions. The analysis combines hidden wave structures, anisotropic energy methods, and conormal Sobolev estimates to establish global uniform regularity and vanishing dissipation limits.
